Project description:adt05-04_drn - mutant vs wildtype - DRN targets - Ovules containing heart-stage/torpedo-stage embryos were dissected from siliques and imidiately shock frozen in liquid nitrogen. RNA was extracted and sent to Evry for comparison between mutant and wildtype transcriptome. Keywords: gene knock out

Project description:Modifications of gene expression were compared between wildtype control, and islet2a mutants and morphants. We used microarrays to detect modifications in gene expression in mutant vs. control, morphant vs. control, and mutant vs. morphant.
Project description:Cy3-labeled cDNA obtained from four pools of three hearts of neonatal C57BL Cx43 null mice were compared to Cy3-labeled cDNA obtained from four pools of three hearts of neonatal C57BL wildtype mice through Cy5-labeled sample reference prepared at once for the entire experiment from aorta, brain, heart, kidney, liver, lung, ovary/testicles, spleen, and stomach - equal amounts from adult male and female C57BL mice. Keywords = Cx32 null vs wildtype neonatal mouse heart Keywords: parallel sample
Project description:Pairwise comparison of gene expression in pools (n=14) of wildtype 4 week old male Vs NaS1-/- knockout mice. Keywords: normal Vs mutant
Project description:Utilizing C. elegans as a model of mitochondrial dysfunction provides insight into cellular adaptations which occur as a consequence of genetic alterations causative of human disease. We characterized genome-wide expression profiles of hypomorhpic C. elegans mutants in nuclear-encoded subunits of respiratory chain complexes I, II and III. Our goal was to detect concordant changes among clusters of genes that comprise defined metabolic pathways utilizing gene set enrichment analysis. Keywords: Wildtype vs mutant comparison as a method for studying contributors to disease processes
