ABSTRACT: Purpose: Determine rate-limiting genes in response to higher light intensity Method: Cell division was observed at 8 h but not 4 h post light shift. The transcriptome of 4 h and 8 h post light shift were compared using RNA-seq. The reference transcriptome used was Dt-v10 (GEO accession no. GSE70876) Results and Conclusions: Genes belonging TCA cycle and amino acid syntheses increased later at 8 h, suggesting that they are the rate-limiting in the response to higher light intensity
