Characterization and Correlation of Tissue-Specific Profiles of Transcriptome Activity
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: While kinome analysis has proven valuable in unravelling complex biology and identifying therapeutic targets and biomarkers, considerably less is known about the extent to which kinome data can contribute to a systems biology perspective through integration with data from other omic approaches. To investigate, kinome and transcriptome analyses were performed on four tissues of distinct biological function: liver, spleen, jejunum, and jejunal Peyer’s patches. The objective was to identify tissue-specif expression profiles and correlations between kinome and transcriptome data.
