GNPS - NSF_T septentrionalis Fungus Gardens Extracts_01

ABSTRACT: Trachymyrmex septentrionalis fungus garden samples (collected from New Jersey, Georgia, North Carolina and Florida) extracted with dichloromethane/methanol. Samples were resuspended in methanol containing internal standard sulfamethazine(2uM). LC-MS/MS analyses was performed in a Maxis Q-TOF mass spectrometer (Bruker Daltonics) equipped with ESI source. Column Kinetex 1.7 mm C18 reversed phase UHPLC column (50 X 2.1 mm). Solvent A: Water 0.1% formic acid, Solvent B: Acetonitrile 0.1%

Here, we report the genome sequences of eight bacteria isolated from these fungus gardens to better describe the ecology of these strains and their potential to produce secondary metabolites in this niche.
