Protein coverage improvement for mouse lung tissue by using cysteine modification method


ABSTRACT: protein coverage is improved for both total protein and membrane protein by using powerful cysteine modification (S-aminoethylation) method. We successfully identify about 22% extra total protein and 19% extra membrane protein compared with conventional IAM alkylation method with ultrahigh sensitive orbitrap instrument.
