Myotubularin-related proteins control abscission_StDenis_MTMR_P84_VS6-7-8-11-12

ABSTRACT: This submission is part of the mass spectrometry datasets for the manuscript by St-Denis et al. entitled: Myotubularin-related proteins 3 & 4 interact with PLK1 and CEP55 to control CEP55 recruitment to the midbody and ensure proper abscission. This submission contains 82 RAW files and 82 mgf files, all acquired on a Velos Orbitrap mass spectrometer, as well as results files. See the README file within Methods and Protocols and the accompanying File description.

The myotubularins are a family of phosphatases that dephosphorylate the phosphatidylinositols phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate and phosphatidylinositol-3,5-phosphate. Several family members are mutated in disease, yet the biological functions of the majority of myotubularins remain unknown. To gain insight into the roles of the individual enzymes, we have used affinity purification coupled to mass spectrometry to identify protein-protein interactions for the myotubularins. The myotubularin inter  ...[more]
