Proteomic response of human umbilical vein endothelial cells to histamine stimulation
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Endothelial cells (HUVEC) were treated with histamine, the endogenous ligand of histamine receptors, for a global overview of its cellular effects. Changes of the intracellular and secreted proteomes were analyzed using shotgun proteomics. Furthermore, a selected set of proteins was quantified using parallel reaction monitoring.
