Australian Native fruits: Native Currant's Metabolomics profiling
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: After screening some understudied Australian native fruits. The potential metabolites in the most active extracts (Water and ethanol extracts of Native currant) were analysed with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) driven metabolomics and chemometrics to spot differential and major metabolites. The metabolomics analysis revealed an abundance of flavonoids, fatty acyl derivatives, carbohydrates, carboxylic acids and their derivatives, and alkaloid compounds as potential bioactive metabolites in the NC extracts.
