ABSTRACT: Non-target analysis based on high resolution mass spectrometry calls for quality controls to validate analytical workflows. So far no community-wide used quality control material has been established in metabolomics. In this work, we propose ethanolic yeast extracts derived from Pichia pastoris in vivo fermentation as stable and cheap controls. The provided open-source database of ca. 200 annotated metabolites enables to benchmark the coverage of non-targeted metabolomics workflows.
INSTRUMENT(S): Liquid Chromatography MS - alternating - hilic, Liquid Chromatography MS - alternating - reverse phase
