Limited knowledge is available for phosphorylation modifications in pepper (<i>Capsicum annuum</i> L.), especially in pepper fruit development. In this study, we conducted the first comprehensive phosphoproteomic analysis of pepper fruit at four development stage by Tandem Mass Tag proteomic approaches.
