Recent evidence has highlighted the role of <i>N</i> <sup>6</sup>-methyladenosine (m<sup>6</sup>A) in the regulation of mRNA expression, stability, and translation, supporting a potential role for posttranscriptional regulation mediated by m<sup>6</sup>A in cancer.
