High-resolution metaproteomic analysis of an ocean microbiome six days preceding a Chaetoceros bloom

ABSTRACT: In June 12 – 18, 2021, marine microbial samples were collected in East Sound, WA, USA every 4 hours. This high temporal resolution sampling effort captured the initiation of a Chaetoceros socialis bloom. A metaproteomic data dependent analysis was performed on the 6 days of the time series preceding the bloom.
