Project description:Compare expression profiles between Col-0 and transgenic lines overexpressing AtFAAH(At5g64440) after inoculated with nonhost pathogen Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae at 0, 6 and 12 hours.
Project description:The Arabidopsis Pathoarray 464_001 (GPL3638) was used to compare response of Col-0, pad4-1 (Zhou et al., 1998; Jirage et al., 1999) and sid2-2 (Wildermuth et al., 2001) to Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3000 hrcC mutant. SA production is drastically reduced in sid2 mutants. PAD4 is required for SA-mediated responses. The results suggested that the SA increase triggered by MAMPs is one major component in the MAMPs-triggered signaling mechanism. Project description:Transcription profiling of Nicotinan benthamiana in response to Pectobacterium carotovorum WPP14 and Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3000
Project description:Arabidopsis G3BP1 mutants showed enhanced resistance to the virulent bacterial pathogen Pseudomonas syringae Pv. tomato. Pathogen resistance was mediated in Atg3bp1 mutants by altered stomatal and apoplastic immunity.
Project description:We sought to compare and contrast plant host and bacterial transcriptional changes during compatible infections that cause disease (albeit within different symptoms). We investigated the infection by the two Pseudomonas syringae sensu lato strains P. syringae pv. syringae B728a (Psy) and P. amygdali pv. tabaci 11528 (Pta) of Nicotiana benthamiana at an early time point post inoculation to understand how a plant host responds to two related bacteria with different infection strategies. Plant and bacterial transcriptomes were analyzed prior to and five hours post inoculation.
