ABSTRACT: Picochlorum species (Trebouxiophyceae) are small halotolerant and thermotolerant unicellular green alga with multiple biotechnological applications. Here, we sequenced the 13.5-Mb of P. costavermella, isolated from the estuary of a river flowing into the Mediterranean Sea.
