Deep sequencing of small RNAs from Daphnia magna.

ABSTRACT: Total RNA was isolated from three life stages (juvenile, subadult and adult) of the water flee Daphnia magna. The total RNAs were fractionated by size and the small RNA fractions were used to build libraries that were sequenced on an Illimunia sequencer. The small reads were used to study microRNAs in D. magna.
