Project description:In the frame of a multispecies project, Lachancea kluyveri cells were treated with 5 mM sodium selenite. Cells were collected 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 minutes after the treatment and their transcriptomes were compared to those of mock-treated cultures. Project description:Transcriptional profiling of the yeast Lachancea kluyveri when grown on minimal media with different compounds added as the sole nitrogen source. Cells grown on uracil, uridine, dihydrouracil and ammonia were profiled using cells grown on proline as the reference. Five conditions, of one was used as reference. Each grown in 4 parallell biological replicates, which were extracted, labeled and hybridized individually, except for the reference where the replicates were pooled. 1 technical replicate. S-phase time-course of Lachancea kluyveri cells

Project description:Haploid cells of Lachancea kluyveri were arrested in G1 phase using Saccharomices cerevisiae alpha factor. After, release in a new media, cells go synchronously through S-phase. One sample is taken every five minutes. Microarrays are used to monitor the change of DNA copy number from 1 to 2, all along the genome during S-phase.
