Project description:Between January 2021 and September 2021, a total of 5 pairs of adjacent normal tissues and CRC tumor tissues were collected at Suzhou Municipal Hospital. Written informed consent was secured from all participating patients prior to the commencement of the study. The study protocol, including all experiments, was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee of Suzhou Municipal Hospital.
Project description:Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) play important roles in the tumorigenesis and metastasis of colorectal cancer (CRC). This study used a lncRNA microarray to analyze the aberrant lncRNA expression profiles in CRC tissues compared with paired adjacent normal tissues as well as CRC with regional lymph nodes metastasis compared with CRC without regional lymph nodes metastasis.
Project description:To identify aberrantly expressed long intergenic noncoding RNAs (lincRNAs) in bladder cancer tissues compared with normal adjacent tissues, we have employed microarray expression profiling as a discovery platform to identify lincRNAs that may play important roles in bladder cancer origin and progression. Samples of fresh frozen cancer tissues, together with normal adjacent tissues (3 cm away from the tumor), were obtained during surgical resection, and total RNA was extracted for microarray analysis. Two pairs of fresh frozen bladder cancer tissues and corresponding normal adjacent tissues were used in the microarray analysis.
Project description:We select 3 pairs of tissue samples, including 3 breast tissues and 3 adjacent tissues, and then perform miRNA chip detection to find differential miRNAs. We used microarrays to identify differential expressed miRNAs in breast cancer and paired normal breast tissue

Samples of fresh frozen cancer tissues, together with normal adjacent tissues (3 cm away from the tumor), were obtained during surgical resection, and total RNA was extracted for microarray analysis. Expression of six mRNAs and lincRNAs (E2F1, CCNE2, CCNB1, lincRNA:chr1:205404014-205407007, lincRNA:chr7:130723313-130727663, lincRNA:chr4:15669186-15683175) from this signature was quantified in the same RNA samples by real-time PCR, confirming good quality of the microarray analysis. Data in the matrix are log2 transformed. Three pairs of fresh frozen bladder cancer tissues and corresponding normal adjacent tissues were used in the microarray analysis.
Project description:This is a commercially available Affymetrix chip from 16 pairs of gastric cancer and corresponding adjacent normal tissues, used for screening differentially expressed genes associated with gastric cancer.
