Project description:Expression data after flg22 treatment on leaf discs in Col-0, 35S:AFB1 and 35S:miR393 We used microarrays to investigated the effect of auxin signalling on flg22 response pathway. We also compared if addition of auxin could simulated the 35S:AFB1 phenotype. Keywords: stress response, disease state analysis Leaf discs were taken and let overnight in water to avoid the wound response. We then performed the treatment (flg22, flg22 from Agrobacterium tumefaciens, flg22 +NAA, NAA) to the media. The samples where harvested and freeze in liquid nitrogen at 0, 1 and 2h after treatment.

Project description:We reported the flg22-triggered immune responses in roots affect the iron deficiency responses and may link to the function of FLS2 and IMA1 in the root. To identify the underlying mechanism of how the root transcriptome profiles respond to +Fe, +Fe+flg22, -Fe, -Fe+flg22 respectively, and if the flg22 responses is dependent on the function of FLS2 and IMA1 in the root, we performed an mRNA-seq experiments in Col-0, fls2 and UBQ10::mCitrine-IMA1 with different treatments. The differentially expressed genes in response to +Fe, +Fe+flg22, -Fe, -Fe+flg22 were analyzed. It has 36 samples in total, with 3 biogical replicates for each condition and each genotype.

Flg22 induces CERK1 phosphorylation

Project description:Plant cells employ cell-surface receptors to detect pathogens and launch immunity.Here we show that flg22 can induce a receptor-like kinase CERK1 phosphorylation at juxtamembrane region (JM). However, Genome-wide transcriptional reprogramming and other flg22 responses implied that CERK1 does not directly mediate flg22 signaling. Surprisingly, CERK1 JM phosphorylation can promote chitin responses and fungal resistance for plants and genome-wide transcriptional reprogramming also suggested no sign of constitutive immunity caused by this.
