Project description:To understand the role of NR1D1 in the progression of breast cancer, NR1D1 knockout (KO) MDA-MB-231 cells, established using the CRISPR/Cas9 system, were treated with 200 μM H2O2 for 72 h. Gene expression patterns were analyzed by microarray.
Project description:To investigate the role of NR1D1 in the progression of breast cancer, mammary gland tumor tissues were obtained from 14 weeks old FVB Nr1d1+/+;PyMT and Nr1d1-/-;PyMT mice and the gene expression patterns were analyzed by RNA-seq.
Project description:Nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group D member 1 (NR1D1), also known as Rev-Erbα, is a circadian clock component that functions as a transcriptional repressor which coordinates circadian rhythm and cell metabolism. Altered circadian clock characteristics have been shown in malignant thyroid neoplasms, and NR1D1 is one of the recurrence-associated genes in papillary thyroid cancer. We aimed to investigate the biological role of NR1D1 in thyroid cancer cells.
