Project description:microRNA profiles of Exosomes from Pooled NPC Patients serum comparing Control Exosomes from Healthy donors serum Two-condition experiment, Exosomes from Pooled Healthy donors serum vs. Exosomes from Pooled NPC Patients serum. Biological replicates: 1 Exosomes from Pooled Healthy donors serum, 1 Exosomes from Pooled NPC Patients serum,
Project description:Pancreatic cancer has a dismal prognosis partly due to late diagnosis, where a reliable non-invasive diagnosis is urgently wanted. We here explored, whether serum-derived PaCa exosomes may provide a diagnostic means and microRNA may be advantageous. Exosomes were collected from the serum of 133 patients with pancreatic cancer, 22 patients with non-malignant pancreatic tumors, 25 patients with chronic pancreatitis and 20 healthy donors. Exosomes were isolated by ultracentrifugation and used qRT-PCR for miRNA quantification and miRCURY LNA microRNA Array for miRNA analysis.
Project description:We used microarrays to perform systematic profiling of human microRNAs in plasma from nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients to find potential biomarkers. By comparing the plasma microRNA profiles of the NPC patients and healthy donors, potential biomarkers for NPC were investigated. A total of 39 microRNAs were aberrantly expressed based on 50 Agilent microarrays containing 887 human microRNAs 50 microarrays containing 887 human microRNAs were used to screen for potential biomarkers with significant differential expression levels between 31 NPC patients and 19 healthy donors.

Project description:To evaluate whether serum microRNAs can predict survival in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients, we analyzed the serum microRNA expression profiles in 8 NPC patients with shorter-survival time and 8 age- and gender-matched NPC patients with longer-survival time using microarray. We identified a four-microRNA signature can predict survival of NPC patients.
Project description:The goal of the study is to compare transcriptome profile of mouse liver with acetaminophen toxicity to potentially therapeutic healthy blood serum exosome or cytokine treatments along with acetaminophen Studies also included sequencing of miRNA from exosomes isolated from pooled serum of several healthy anonimous human donors and livers of mice that received the exosome treatment along with acetominophen.

Project description:In this study, we compared microRNA (miRNA) profiles of salivary exosomes of patients with oral lichen planus with those of healthy controls. Saliva samples from 16 patients with oral lichen planus and 8 healthy controls were divided into 2 sets and were examined by performing miRNA microarray analysis. Examination of 8 oral lichen planus patients and 4 healthy controls. Each patient and control represent pooled RNAs from salivary exosomes of 8 patients and 4 healthy controls, respectively. Please note that each set (i.e. set1 and set2) was analysed independently.
