Project description:We report the draft genome sequence of Streptococcus mutans strain HM isolated from a 4-year-old girl with infective endocarditis. The genomics information will provide information on the genetic diversity and virulence potential of S. mutans strain HM.
Project description:Here, we present the 3.53-Mb genome for Alcaligenaceae sp. strain 429, isolated from a patient with unknown etiology. While the 16S rRNA gene most closely resembles Paenalcaligenes species, average amino acid identity (AAI) analysis did not meet the threshold to classify our strain as a species of this family.
Project description:Bacillus thuringiensis is an agriculturally significant bacterium and common biological pesticide. B. thuringiensis strain MW was isolated from a freshwater stream in Mont Vernon, NH, and sequenced. A draft genome assembly of 5,935,630 bp with a G+C content of 34.86% and an N50 value of 1,154,949 bp was generated.
Project description:Escherichia coli is the most well-studied bacterium and a common colonizer of the lower mammalian gastrointestinal tract. We report here the complete genome sequence of the original Escherichia coli isolate, strain NCTC86, which was described by Theodor Escherich, for whom the genus is named.
Project description:We present here the genome sequence of Pasteurella multocida 232, a bacterium that is associated with pneumonia in humans as well as in many animal species. The genome of Pasteurella multocida 232 has an N50 value of 187.32 kb and a total size of 2.34 Mb.
