We separately analyzed the data from susceptible mice, which showed social avoidance after R-SDS, and resilient mice, which did not, in addition to those from naïve mice.

Based on our observation that TLR2/TLR4 mediate R-SDS-induced activation of mPFC microglia, we performed the analysis in wild-type (WT) mice and TLR2/TLR4-double knockout (TLR-DKO) mice.

Medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) transcriptome analysis of Shank3-overexpressing mice

Project description:Shank3 is a core excitatory postsynaptic protein expressed in multiple brain regions including the medial prefrontal cortex, striatum, and hippocampus. We have previously generated and characterized Shank3-overexpressing transgenic mice, and found that these mice exhibited manic-like behavioral phenotypes. To understand molecular mechanisms underlying the behavioral changes, we performed transcriptome (RNA-sequencing) analysis of the mPFC tissues from 10 to 12-week-old wild-type and Shank3 transgenic mice.

Transcriptome Analysis of the Mouse Medial Prefrontal Cortex in Chronic Constriction Injury Model

Project description:The medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) is critical for both the sensory and emotional /cognitive components of pain. However, the underlying mechanism still remains largely unknown. Here, we examined changes in the transciptomic profiles in the mPFC of mice with chronic pain using RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) technology. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 4 different group of mPFC from mice, including ipsilateral part (Left side, the same to our operation part) of mPFC, contralateral part (Right side, opposite to our operation part) of mPFC after CCI (Chronic Constriction Injury of Sciatic Nerve) operation. Combining with naïve mice, at 28 days after operation.
