Project description:Analysis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line HONE1 following knockdown of SHROOM2 gene We used microarrays to detail the global gene expression in tissues from HONE1 cells with or without SHROOM2 knockdown.
Project description:Abnormal expression of circadian genes is known to be engage in tumor initiation and progression through disrupting rhythms of cellular processes. Here, we determined a significant role of the core circadian gene ARNTL2 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma metastasis. To further investigate the underlying mechanism of ARNTL2 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma, High-throughput RNA sequencing was performed in ARNTL2-knockdown HONE1 cell.

Project description:To investigate the effect of FOXO1 on miRNAs in Nasopharyngeal carcinoma, we used miRNA chip on SUNE1 cells after FOXO1 overexpression. This analysis identified 82 miRNAs which were markedly dysregulated in FOXO1 overexpressing cells.
Project description:Three nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines (CNE1, CNE2, and HONE1) expression patterns against an immortalized nasopharyngeal epithelial cell line NP69.
Project description:MicroRNAs are biomarkers of prognosis and survival for many types of cancer. We evaluated whether microRNAs can predict the survival and efficacy of concurrent chemotherapy in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients. We retrospectively analyzed microRNA expression in 312 paraffin-embedded NPC specimens and 18 normal nasopharyngeal tissues using microarray. We found Forty-one microRNAs are differentially expressed between NPC and normal tissues, and a five-microRNA signature can predict survival independent of stage. NPC patients with the low-risk microRNA signature have a favorable response to concurrent chemotherapy. microRNA profiling of nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues vs. normal nasopharyngeal tissues 312 paraffin-embedded nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues and 18 paraffin-embedded normal nasopharyngeal tissues
Project description:Three nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines (CNE1, CNE2, and HONE1) expression patterns against an immortalized nasopharyngeal epithelial cell line NP69. This study was done to screen genes consensually overexpressed in NPC. NP69 was used as normal control. The microarray analyses were done in a same batch.
Total RNA (6â7 mg) was isolated from FOXO1-overexpressing and control SUNE1 cells and Micro RNA Array was used to search the differential expression miRNAs
