Project description:Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third leading cause of cancer mortality worldwide. Different pathological pathways and molecular drivers have been described and some of the associated markers are used to select effective anti-neoplastic therapy. This dataset is part of ColPortal, a platform that integrates transcriptomic, microtranscriptomic, methylomic and microbiota data of patients with colorectal cancer. ColPortal also includes detailed information of histological features and digital histological slides from the study cases, since histology is a morphological manifestation of a complex molecular change.

Normal thyrocytes vs papillary vs anaplastic thyroid carcinomas

Project description:We profiled the gene expression of 11 anaplastic thyroid carcinomas (ATC), 49 papillary thyroid carcinomas (PTC) and 45 normal thyroids (N) We hibridized a series of anaplastic thyroid carcinomas (ATC) and papillary thyroid carcinomas (PTC) onto Affymetrix U133 Plus 2.0 arrays. ATCs were obtained from different hospitals in France and Belgium. Paired RNA samples of PTCs and non-tumoral thyroid tissues were obtained from Ukraine via the Chernobyl Tissue Bank (www.chernobyltissuebank.com). Diagnoses were confirmed by the members of the International Pathology Panel of the Chernobyl Tissue Bank.

Single-Cell transcriptomics comparison of nasal polyps in patients with AERD and CRSwNP.

Project description:Objective: We sought to obtain detailed information about transcriptional differences in epithelial cells and immune cell subsets present in polyps of aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease and chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps. Methods: After enrichment for various immune subsets by flow cytometric sorting of polyp-derived cells, we performed transcriptomic profiling by employing single-cell RNA sequencing of all patients. Results: Transcriptomic profiling revealed that epithelial and mast cells not only complement one another in terms of gene expression associated with the 15-lipoxygenase pathway, but also show a clear type 2 associated inflammatory phenotype as identified by the upregulation of POSTN, CCL26 and IL13 in patients with aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease.

In this present study, we generated tamoxifen-inducible Lkb1flox/flox;Myh11-Cre/ERT2 mice and performed scRNA-seq to investigate the cellular complexity of gastrointestinal polyps associated with PJS.
