Project description:We measured 371 genome‐wide DNA methylation profiles of sorted peripheral blood samples from 63 patients with rheumatoid arthritis and 31 unaffected control subjects. Methylation profiles were measured for cell subsets of CD14+ monocytes, CD19+ B cells, CD4+ memory T cells, and CD4+ naive T cells.

Project description:In order to identify new biomarkers for the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, we used circRNA microarray technology to screen the differential expression of circRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of patients with rheumatoid arthritis. We identified a total of 399 differentially expressed circRNAs in RA patients and healthy controls, of which 149 circRNAs were significantly up-regulated in RA patients and 250 were down-regulated. Among them, hsa_circRNA_101328 may be a potential biomarker for the diagnosis of RA.

Project description:Leukocytapheresis((LCAP) is a safe, unique therapy prevalent for intractable rheumatoid arthritis even in case of drug allergy or infectious state. To investigate how to improve LCAP efficacy, we have conducted genes expressions analysis from peripheral blood of Rheumatoid arthritis patients using high resolution DNA microarray just before and after LCAP procedure. 8 Rheurmatoid arthritis patients have been compared just before and after Leukocytapheresis treatment (overall 16 samples). The Pre-LCAP samples were labeled using Cy5, and the Post-LCAP labeled with Cy3.
