Project description:To examine the transcriptional landscape of breast cancer stem cells enriched population in triple negative breast cancer, we compared transcript change between adherent MDA-MB-231 cells and the same cells cultured in mammosphere conditions for 16 hours or 5 days. Mammosphere assay is a recognised in vitro model of the breast cancer stem cells , and we wished to identify transcriptional dynamics and novel noncoding RNAs implicated in the regulation of this cell type.
