Project description:B cells expand during the recovery after DSS-induced colonic inflammation. To investigate if a specific subtype is expanding and to analyse the transcriptional profile of these cells a transcriptional analysis on single cell level was carried out. In detail, B cells were isolated from the colon of mice on day 0 (no treatment) or day 14 (recovery) after 7 days of DSS treatment by flow cytometric sorting and analyzed by 10X sequencing.
Project description:To profile the molecular changes in the lung during osteosarcoma pre-metastatic niche formation, we performed RNA-seq of lungs harvested from D0 and D14 after orthotopic implantation of K7M2 cells in balb/c mice.
Project description:Coccidioidomycosis, or Valley Fever, is a lung disease caused by inhaling Coccidioides fungi, prevalent in the Southwestern U.S., Mexico, and parts of Central and South America. Climate change is contributing to the spread of this disease. Many cases are asymptomatic, some are often misdiagnosed, and a small subset can progress to severe illness. To better understand lung responses during late Coccidioides infection, we used 10x Visium spatial transcriptomics. We analyzed non-infected lung (D0) and infected lung at 14 days post-infection (D14).
Project description:B cells expand during the recovery after DSS-induced colonic inflammation and might play a role in influencing tissue repair. To analyze the impact B cells might have on intestinal epithelial cells and stromal cells during recovery after intestinal injury the transcriptional profile of these mice was analysed in mice depleted of B cells and control mice on day 14 after DSS colitis.
