Project description:Circular RNA (circRNA) is a kind of transcripts characterized by originating from the back-splicing of pre-mRNA. CircRNAs have higher stability than liner transcripts and are more resistant to RNase R due to their loop structure, which makes circRNAs potential diagnostic markers and therapeutic targets for cancer . The biological functions of circRNAs are widely involved in the proliferation, metastasis, apoptosis, and autophagy of various cancers via multiple ways. To further investage the role of circRNA in CRC, a circRNA micoarray was performed.
Project description:To identifythe the functional roles of circRNAs in human colorectal cancer, we analysed the differenial expression of circRNAs in 5 colorectal cancer tissues and the corresponding non-cancerous tissues. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of circRNA expression in human colorectal cancer tissues and correponding non-cancerous tissues.
Project description:Colorectal cancer (CRC) is recognized as the third most common cancer worldwide, and it is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death. However, the current therapeutic regimens were not always effective. Here, the expression profiles of mRNAs, lncRNAs and circRNAs in four pairs of HCT116 and FHC cells were detected by microarray technology
Project description:Total RNA from 6 pairs colorectal cancer tissues and its matched adjacent non-cancerous tissues was extracted and sequenced by high throughput sequencing. Then, differentially expressed circRNAs, long noncoding RNAs, and mRNAs were showed in colorectal cancer.
Project description:5 colorectal cancer (CRC) tissues and 5 paired non-tumor tissues from CRC patients were indirectly compared using a 17K cDNA microarray.
Project description:We have identified TEAD4 as a key prognosis factor in colorectal cancer. To elucidate the potentail mechanism and function of TEAD4 in colorectal caner, we generated two stable cell lines expressing different shRNA targeting TEAD4 in the mesenchymal-like LoVo cells and the differential genes were detected by microarray.
Project description:In order to search for circRNA differentially expressed in colorectal cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues, the cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues of 3 patients with colorectal cancer(TNM:ⅡB) were selected for circRNA microarray detection. Differentially expressed circRNAs were screened. Then qRT-PCR was used to verify.
