Project description:We looked for difference in genetic expression in 4 cell lines that have the same genetic background but reproduce breast cancer progression. Especially, we identied genes that were overexpressed in late cancer progression (MCFT1 and MCFCA1) but not in early stages (MCF10A and MCFNeoT).
Project description:We report the role of AIB1D4 in early stage breast cancer progression. Using CRISPR editing, we generated isogeneic cell lines that only express AIB1D4 and not full length AIB1 then extracted RNA for sequencing from cell lines and mamary fat pad xenografts in SCID/Beige mice. Data was aligned to Hg19 with STAR and processed with EdgeR.
Project description:We used Micro-C to explore conformational changes in the cancer genome, using the MCF10 cell line as a model for breast cancer progression. We have generated 5kb-resolution maps in normal (MCF10A), pre-malignant (MCF10AT1), and metastatic (MCF10CA1a) breast cancer cell lines, and aim to identify differential enhancer-promoter interactions between the different stages of cancer progression that may contribute to oncogenesis.
Project description:In order to identify novel molecular targets associated with TNBC progression, we initially performed transcriptome analysis using RNA sequencing in breast cancer cell lines, classified as either the luminal subtype (MCF-7, T47D, ZR-75B) or basal-like subtype (MDA-MB-231, MDA-MB-435, Hs578T).
