Project description:Treg-specific transcription factor Foxp3 is also expressed in macrophages. Macrophages play an important role in the pathological process of stroke, and their Foxp3 is significantly up-regulated after stroke, and the underlying mechanism is still unclear. The purpose of this study was to investigate the function of Foxp3 as a transcription factor in macrophages. Ten million bone marrow-derived macrophages were treated with mouse brain-derived danger-associated molecular patterns, and experiments were performed 2 hours later using CST's Cut&Run kit and Foxp3 antibody. The obtained DNA was subjected to sequencing analysis. Our findings suggest that the expression of foxp3 is associated with the phagocytosis and digestion of macrophages, and the molecular may be a potential target for stroke.
