Purpose: Salmonella mRNA profile, when grown in different media was compared to minimal medium to reveal environment specific transcriptional changes. Methods: mRNA profiles were generated using Illumina HiSeq in triplicates. The sequences were analysed using Bowtie2 followed by Cufflinks.
