RNA-seq of C. elegans young adult hermaphrodites to detect differentially expressed genes in the absence of lsl-1 activity
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: LSL-1 is a novel Zinc-finger transcription factor that we identified in a genome wide RNAi screen as a suppressor of ectopic germline gene expression associated with mutations in let-418, which encodes an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler. RNA for three different biological replicates was isolated from at least 1000 animals of each genotype: wild type, lsl-1(tm4769) and lsl-1(ljm-1); and then sequence to detect differentially expressed genes in both lsl-1 mutant genotypes compared to wild type animals.
