Transcription profiling by array of mouse PreMegE cells from conditional null Fog1 mutants


ABSTRACT: Gene expression of PreMegE cells from wild type mice was compared with those from conditional null mutants (Fog1 Floxed). Cre excision in mutant mice was induced with polyIC. PreMegE cells were isolated by FACS. Expression profiles of biological replicates were determined by hybridization to Affymetrix MoGene 1.0 ST arrays.

The transcription factors that control lineage specification of haematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) have been well described for the myeloid and lymphoid lineages, whereas transcriptional control of erythroid (E) and megakaryocytic (Mk) fate is less understood.
