Reliable interpretation of comparative genomic hybridization array (aCGH) results requires centralization and normalization of the data. We evaluated the reliability of aCGH centralization by comparing aCGH results (with classical centralization-normalization steps) to fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) results.
