The genome sequence of the orange ladybird, Halyzia sedecimguttata (Linnaeus, 1758).

ABSTRACT: We present a genome assembly from an individual Halyzia sedecimguttata (the orange ladybird, Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera, Coccinellidae). The genome sequence is 919.1 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 10 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 21.0 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 27,547 protein coding genes.
