Research on the game of manufacturing capacity sharing based on prospect theory.

ABSTRACT: In order to investigate the strategy choice of each player in capacity sharing, the article constructs a tripartite game model based on capacity provider-capacity demander-government, introduces the prospect theory and conducts numerical simulation analysis using MATLAB. The results show that capacity sharing in the manufacturing industry is related to three parties: capacity providers, capacity demanders and the government, and their strategies in the game process influence each other; the sensitivity of capacity providers and capacity demanders is higher than that of the government; the increase of risk-return coefficient and loss-avoidance coefficient is conducive to the evolution of subjects to the ideal state.

Project description:In order to delve into the dynamic evolution process and influencing factors of information sharing decisions among stakeholders under supply chain collaboration, this study constructs an evolutionary game model with suppliers and retailers as the primary entities. Within this model, a combined approach of game theory and prospect theory is employed, integrating prospect value functions and weight functions to create an information sharing prospect value matrix. A comprehensive analysis is conducted on the strategic choices and benefits of entities considering the psychological perception of information sharing, and critical factors influencing the stability of information sharing evolution results are explored through numerical simulations using Matlab. The key findings of this study are as follows: Firstly, from the perspective of supply chain collaboration, the probability of entities evolving into information sharing is negatively correlated with the cost of information sharing and positively correlated with the benefits generated by information coordination. Secondly, looking at supply chain collaboration, entities are more likely to engage in information sharing behavior when they exhibit a lower level of risk aversion, indicating greater rationality, when facing profits; conversely, they are more likely to participate in information sharing when they display a higher degree of risk preference, indicating less rationality, in the face of losses. Furthermore, the lesser sensitivity of suppliers and retailers to losses is more likely to drive the system towards an information-sharing state. Based on the primary findings mentioned above, this study offers recommendations for enhancing trust, constructing information exchange platforms, and adjusting psychological awareness. These suggestions contribute to improving information sharing among entities within the supply chain, thus enhancing the overall efficiency and collaboration of the supply chain.

Project description:Current mobility trend indicates that the number of private cars will decline in the near future. One of the reasons for this trend is the development of Mobility as a Service (MaaS), which in conjunction with information and communication technologies (ICT) drive the application of transport services in smart city, respond to environmental issues, and provide users with reliable mobility. Electric vehicle sharing (EVS) travel has been regarded as a feasible mainstream model of sustainable mobility services in the future, which can effectively improve the utilization rate of motor vehicles, solve the problems of traffic congestion, environmental pollution and urban land, and promote low-carbon and sustainable development. To help electric vehicle operators improve service quality, the establishment of EVS program service performance evaluation is an urgent problem to be solved. Based on this, this paper firstly constructs the evaluation index system from 5 aspects: electric vehicle, charge station, user experience, payment and intelligent services through literature review and Delphi method. Secondly, the criteria importance though intercriteria correlation (CRITIC) and the improved G1 method are introduced to overcome the shortcomings of the single method, and the combined weights are calculated by the multiplication normalization method. Finally, a decision model based on intuitionistic fuzzy soft set (IFSS)-prospect theory and VIse Kriterijumski Optimizacioni Racun (VIKOR) method is constructed to select the best service performance of EVS program, and its feasibility and effectiveness are verified by sensitivity analysis and comparative analysis. The result shows that EVCARD is the best performing EVS program, and shared electric vehicle and charge station are the key factors to be considered in the selection. This study provides scientific and feasible guidance for the optimal service performance selection of EVS programs, which is of great significance for users to choose EVS programs.

Project description:Industry 4.0 is the digitalization of the manufacturing systems based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for developing a manufacturing system to gain efficiency and improve productivity. Cloud Manufacturing (CM) is a paradigm of Industry 4.0. Cloud Manufacturing System (CMS) considers anything as a service. The end product is developed based on the service composition in the CMS according to consumers' needs. Also, composite services are developed based on the interaction of MCS providers from different geographical locations. Therefore, the appropriate Manufacturing Cloud Service (MCS) composition is an important problem based on the real-world conditions in CMS. The game theory studies the mathematical model development based on interactions between MCS providers according to real-world conditions. This research develops an Equilibrial Service Composition Model in Cloud Manufacturing (ESCM) based on game theory. MCS providers and consumers get benefits mutually based on ESCM. MCS providers are players in the game. The payoff function is developed based on a profit function. Also, the game strategies are the levels of Quality of Service (QoS) based on consumers' needs in ESCM. Firstly, the article develops a composite service based on a non-cooperative game. The Nash equilibrium point demonstrates the QoS value of composite service and the payoff value for the players. Secondly, the article develops a composite service based on a cooperative game. The players participate in coalitions to develop the composite service based on formal cooperation. The grand coalition demonstrates the QoS value of composite service and the payoff value for the players in the cooperative game. The research has compared the games' results. The players' payoff and the QoS value are better in the cooperative game than in the non-cooperative game. Therefore, the MCS providers and consumers are satisfied mutually in the cooperative game based on ESCM. Finally, the article has applied ESCM in a Healthcare Service to equip 24 hospitals in the best time.
