We report the results of a computational investigation into fluoride binding by a series of pentavalent pnictogen Lewis acids: pnictogen pentahalides (PnX<sub>5</sub>), tetraphenyl pnictogeniums (PnPh<sub>4</sub><sup>+</sup>), and triphenyl pnictogen tetrachlorocatecholates (PnPh<sub>3</sub>Cat).
