ABSTRACT: The title compound, C(24)H(27)N(3)O(4), also known as fenpyroximate, is a commercial acaricide. The benzene ring of the phen-oxy group is approximately perpendicular to the pyrazole ring with a dihedral angle of 84.37?(11)°. The dihedral angle between the phen-oxy and the benzoate benzene rings is 48.83?(8)°.

Project description:The title compound, C(19)H(28)O(5)Si, was obtained in the reaction of 1,3-dihydro-4-[(tert-butyl-dimethyl-sil-yl)-oxy]-6-meth-oxy-7-methyl-3-oxo-5-(prop-2-en-yl)isobenzofuran with meta-chloro-perbenzoic acid. This reaction is one of the stages of the total synthesis of mycophenolic acid, which we attempted to modify. The title compound forms crystals with only weak inter-molecular inter-actions. The strongest stacking inter-action is found between the benzene and furan rings of inversion-related mol-ecules with a distance of 3.8773 (13) Å between the ring centroids.

Project description:The angles within the benzene ring in the title compound, C(30)H(49)N(3)O, ranging from 116.34 (16) to 124.18 (16)°, reflect the presence of electron-donating and electron-withdrawing substituents. The angles at the two electron-donating tert-butyl substituents are smaller than 120°, at the electron-withdrawing eth-oxy substituent larger than 120°, and at the imine substituent equal to 119.59 (16)°. The latter does not reflect the electron-donating nature of the imine group due to the presence of other substituents.

Project description:The title compound, C(20)H(26)N(2)O(5), was prepared in good yield (76%) through condensation of diethyl (4-meth-oxy-benz-yl)propane-dioate with 3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole. The dihedral between the benzene and pyrazole rings is 83.96 (10)°. The crystal packing is stabilized by a C-H⋯O inter-action, which links the mol-ecules into centrosymmetric dimers.

Project description:The title compound, C(26)H(26)N(2)O(2)S, was prepared by the reaction of thio-phene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid and 2-amino-4-tert-butyl-phenol. One of the tert-butyl groups is disordered over two conformations, with occupancies of 0.539 (1) and 0.461 (2). The two 1,3-benzoxazole rings are almost planar, with dihedral angles of 0.83 (18) and 1.64 (17)° between the five- and six-membered rings. The thio-phene ring makes dihedral angles of 21.54 (19) and 4.49 (18)° with the planes of the five-membered oxazole rings. The crystal packing is controlled by π-π stacking inter-actions involving the thio-phene and benzene rings, with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.748 (2) Å.

Project description:The title compound, C18H30N2O5S, was synthesized by the reaction of tert-butyl 2-(iso-butyl-amino)-ethyl-carbamate with p-meth-oxy-phenyl-sulfonyl chloride. In the mol-ecule, two intra-molecular C-H?O hydrogen bonds are observed. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H?O hydrogen bonds involving the imino group N atom and the ester group O atom into chains running parallel to the b axis. The chains are further connected by C-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the bc plane.
