The selection of aminoacyl-tRNAs by the ribosome is a fundamental step in the elongation cycle of protein synthesis. tRNA selection is a multistep process that ensures only correct aminoacyl-tRNAs are accepted while incorrect aminoacyl-tRNAs are rejected.
