ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(21)H(21)ClN(2)O(2), the dihydro-isoxazole ring adopts an envelope conformation and the piperidinone ring is in a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 84.2?(1)°. The crystal used was an inversion twin.
