N'-(2-Hydroxy-benzyl-idene)-4-methoxy-benzohydrazide.

ABSTRACT: The title Schiff base compound, C(15)H(14)N(2)O(3), was derived from the condensation reaction of salicylaldehyde with 4-methoxy-benzohydrazide. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 2.5?(2)°. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked through inter-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the b axis.
