ABSTRACT: In the crystal structure of the title salt, NH(4) (+).[(C(6)H(5))P(O)(2)(OH)](-) or NH(4) (+)·C(6)H(6)O(3)P(-), the N and O atoms inter-act via hydrogen bonds to generate a layer motif. The phenyl rings are stacked above and below this layer, sandwiching the hydrogen-bonded layer.

These dimers are bridged by two dicyclo-hexyl-aminium cations via pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, giving R(4) (4)(12) ring motifs, forming chains propagating along [010]. The chains are bridged by C-H⋯O inter-actions, forming a two-dimensional network lying parallel to (101).

Project description:The title structure, 3C(2)H(7)N(4)O(+)·HFPO(3) (-)·FPO(3) (2-)·H(2)O, contains three independent 2-carbamoylguanidinium cations, one fluoro-phospho-nate, one hydrogen fluoro-phospho-nate and one water mol-ecule. There are three different layers in the structure that are nearly perpendicular to the c axis. Each layer contains a cation and the layers differ by the respective presence of the water mol-ecule, the hydrogen fluoro-phospho-nate and fluoro-phospho-nate anions. N-H?O hydrogen bonds between the guanylurea mol-ecules that inter-connect the mol-ecules within each layer are strong. The layers are inter-connected by strong and weak O-H?O hydrogen bonds between the anions and water mol-ecules, respectively. Inter-estingly, the configuration of the layers is quite similar to that observed in 2-carbamoylguanidinium hydrogen fluoro-phospho-nate [Fábry et al. (2012). Acta Cryst. C68, o76-o83]. There is also present a N-H?F hydrogen bond in the structure which occurs quite rarely.

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(6)H(16)N(+)·C(34)H(52)O(2)PS(2) (-) or [(CH(3)CH(2))(3)NH](+)·[C(34)H(52)O(2)PS(2)](-), the cation and anion are paired via weak, inter-molecular, bifurcated N-H⋯(S,S) hydrogen bonds. The cholesteryl units form an alternating (herringbone) motif as well as an infinitely stacked layered structure along the b axis. The P-S bond lengths [1.975 (2) and 1.981 (2) Å compared with ca 1.92 Å for a formal P=S double bond and with ca 2.01 Å for a P-S single bond] suggest delocalization of the negative charge between the P-S bonds. A distorted tetra-hedral geometry around the P atom is revealed by non-ideal O-P-C and S-P-S bond angles of 96.7 (2) and 115.52 (11)°, respectively.

Project description:In the title mol-ecule, C(17)H(20)NO(3)P, the P atom is bonded in a distorted tetra-hedral environment. The dihedral angle between the two phenyl rings is 23.52?(10)°. The phosphoryl and N-H groups are anti with respect to one another. The -CH(2)-CH(2)-CH(2)-CH(2)- sequence of atoms in the cyclo-pentyl ring is disordered over two sets of sites with refined occupancies of 0.574?(10) and 0.426?(10). In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via N-H?O=P hydrogen bonds to form extended chains along [010].

Project description:The title compound, CH(5)N(2)O(3)P, exists as a zwitterion. The N atom of the imino group is protonated and the phospho-nic acid group is deprotonated. The mol-ecular geometry about the central C atom of this zwitterionic species was found to be strictly planar with the sum of the three angles about C being precisely 360°. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are inter-linked by O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions, forming a three-dimensional supra-molecular network structure.
