Project description:The title compound, C(13)H(15)ClN(2)O(6), was synthesized by hypochlorous acid-mediated chlorination of N-acetyl-3-nitro-l-tyrosine ethyl ester. The OH group forms an intra-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond to the nitro group and the N-H group forms an inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds to an amide O atom, linking the mol-ecules into chains along [100]. The crystal studied was a non-merohedral twin, with a 0.907 (4):0.093 (4) domain ratio.

Project description:In the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(16)H(15)ClN(4)O·0.75CH(3)OH, there are two independent quinazolin-4(3H)-one mol-ecules and one and a half methanol mol-ecules. One of the methanol mol-ecules is disordered over two positions with equal occupancies. The dihedral angles between the quinazoline ring system and the chloro-benzene ring in the two quinazolin-4(3H)-one mol-ecules are essentially the same, at 39.83 (1) and 39.84 (1)°. Intra-molecular N-H⋯N and O-H⋯O, and inter-molecular N-H⋯O and N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds are observed. In addition, π-π stacking inter-actions, with centroid-to-centroid distances of 3.654 (1), 3.766 (1) and 3.767 (1) Å, and weak C-H⋯π inter-actions, are observed.

Project description:In the title compound, C16H17NO3S, a thio-phene derivative with amino phenyl, acetyl, methyl and ethyl carboxyl susbtituents attached to a central thio-phene ring, the phenyl and thio-phene rings form a dihedral angle of 36.92?(9)?Å. The mol-ecular conformation is stabilized by an intra-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bond, which forms an S(6) ring motif.

The NH group forms an intra-molecular hydrogen bond with the acetyl group; in the crystal COOH group forms a centrosymmetric hydrogen-bonded dimer.
