The title compound, C(13)H(12)N(2)O(2)S, formed by Schiff base condensation of benzaldehyde with sulfanilamide, crystallizes as discrete mol-ecular species linked by N-H⋯N and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds between the sulfamide nitro-gen H atoms and the aza-methine N and one sulfamide O atom, respectively, forming a two-dimensional array in the bc plane.
