1,4-Bis(2-pyridylmeth-oxy)benzene.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(18)H(16)N(2)O(2), the phenyl-ene ring is located on inversion center. The pyridyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 39.9?(1)° with the phenyl-ene ring. In the crystal, adjacent mol-ecules are linked by inter-molecular C-H?N hydrogen bonds, forming a linear chain along the a axis.
