In the title compound, C(32)H(32)N(2)O(3)S, the pyrrolidine ring adopts an envelope conformation with the methine C atom nearest to the phenyl ring as the flap atom. The tetra-hydro-pyridine ring has a half-chair conformation. The two rings are trans-fused. The phenyl ring bound to the tetra-hydro-pyridine is oriented almost perpendicular [dihedral angle = 86.35 (10)°] to the fused benzene ring. The dihedral angle between the benzyl-phenyl ring and the sulfonyl-bound phenyl ring is 69.43 (10)°. ...[more]
