ABSTRACT: All atoms of the title mol-ecule, C(12)H(13)BrClNO, except the C and H atoms of the cyclo-pentane methyl-ene groups lie on a crystallographic mirror plane. The cyclo-pentane ring adopts an envelope conformation and an intra-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bond is observed. In the crystal, mol-ecules are stacked along the b axis by ?-? inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.6424?(11)?Å].

The mol-ecular conformation is stabilized by an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked by inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions into zigzag chains running parallel to the b axis.
