2-Amino-4,6-dimethyl-pyrimidinium chloro-acetate.

ABSTRACT: There are two cations and two anions in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(6)H(10)N(3) (+)·C(2)H(2)ClO(2) (-). In the crystal, the components are linked by inter-molecular N-H?O and N-H?N hydrogen bonds to form a two-dimensional network. Additional stabilization is provided by weak inter-molecular C-H?O inter-actions.

The carboxyl-ate group of the 3,5-dinitro-benzoate anion inter-acts with the protonated pyrimidine N atom and the 2-amino group through a pair of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming an R(2) (2)(8) motif. Two inversion-related pyrimidine rings are linked via a pair of N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, also forming an R(2) (2)(8) ring motif.

Project description:In the title compound, C(7)H(11)N(2) (+)·C(7)H(5)O(2) (-), the 2-amino-4,6-dimethyl-pyridinium cation and the benzoate anion are linked by two N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming an R(2) (2)(8) ring motif. The H atoms in both the methyl groups are rotationally disordered, with fixed site occupancies of 0.50. In the crystal structure, the mol-ecules are stabilized by inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. A π-π inter-action, with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.661 (2) Å, is also observed.

Project description:The title compound, C(19)H(17)ClN(4)O(3)S, is a Schiff base compound of 5-chloro-salicylaldehyde and sulfamethazine [4-amino-N-(4,6-dimethyl-2-pyrimidin-yl)benzene-sulfonamide]. The geometry around the S atom is distorted tetra-hedral, comprising two O atoms of the sulfonyl group, a C atom of a benzene ring and the amino N atom. The title compound has an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond and two inter-molecular C-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, which link neighbouring mol-ecules into 10-membered rings. As a result of an unavoidable conformational arrangement, a slightly short intra-molecular contact of distance 2.59 Å exists between an O atom of the sulfonyl group and an H atom of the sulfamethazine benzene ring.

Project description:In the title mol-ecular salt, C4H6ClN4 (+)·C5H7O4 (-), the cation is essentially planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.037?(1)?Å for all non-H atoms. The anions are self-assembled through O-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming a supra-molecular zigzag chain with graph-set notation C(8). In the crystal, the protonated N atom and the 2-amino group of the cation are hydrogen bonded to the carboxyl-ate O atoms of the anion via a pair of N-H?O hydrogen bonds with an R 2 (2)(8) ring motif. This motif further self-organizes through N-H?O and O-H?O hydrogen bonds, generating an array of six hydrogen bonds, the rings having graph-set notation R 3 (2)(8), R 2 (2)(8), R 4 (2)(8), R 2 (2)(8) and R 3 (2)(8). Project description:In the title salt, C6H10N3O2 (+)·C5H3O2S(-), the 2-amino-4,6-di-meth-oxy-pyrimidinium cation inter-acts with the carboxyl-ate group of the thio-phene-2-carboxyl-ate anion through a pair of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming an R 2 (2)(8) ring motif. These motifs are centrosymmetrically paired via N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a complementary DDAA array. The separate DDAA arrays are linked by π-π stacking inter-actions between the pyrimidine rings, as well as by a number of weak C-H⋯O and N-H⋯O inter-actions. In the anion, the dihedral angle between the ring plane and the CO2 group is 11.60 (3)°. In the cation, the C atoms of methoxy groups deviate from the ring plane by 0.433 (10) Å.
