2-(4-Chloro-phen-oxy)acetohydrazide.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(8)H(9)ClN(2)O(2), the two planar fragments, i.e. the chloro-phenyl and C-C(=O)-N groups, are inclined at 14.93?(17)°. In the crystal, relatively weak inter-molecular N-H?N, C-H?O and N-H?O hydrogen bonds connect the mol-ecules into layers. The hydro-phobic parts of mol-ecules stick outside these layers and are connected with the neighbouring layers only by van der Waals contacts and Cl?Cl inter-actions [3.406?(2)?Å].
