The title compound, C(11)H(11)ClN(2)O(4), is an important inter-mediate for the preparation of platinum anti-cancer drugs. The dioxolane ring adopts a twist conformation with an equatorially attached chloro-phenyl substituent. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked into a two-dimensional network parallel to (001) by N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. ...[more]
